Unearthed in one of Liberty’ s archival pattern books from the 1880s, this stylised botanical holds the distinction of being one of the earliest designs ever block printed by Liberty on silk. Chosen in honour of Mary Frances Crane, the wife of Arts & Crafts designer Walter Crane, the design features a dense trail of soft silhouette flowers and leafy sprigs.
